Future supporter programme

Experiences

A conservation field experience is being explored for Sabah.

Seascale is exploring a small, conservation-led programme that could support locally useful turtle-protection work while giving supporters carefully bounded field context.

The programme is at a pre-approval stage. This page is an invitation to receive updates, not an offer to book or travel.

The purpose

Support must strengthen work that local teams already value.

The idea is to connect a carefully managed supporter visit with conservation priorities defined in Sabah. A future programme should add useful capacity without changing wildlife work to suit visitors.

Sensitive work would remain with authorised teams. Local permissions, host capacity, seasonal conditions, and conservation needs would decide what supporters can see or take part in.

Before anything opens

Approval comes before itinerary.

Seascale will not publish dates, prices, or promised activities until the people responsible for the place and the conservation work have agreed the programme.

  1. Local approval

Relevant authorities and conservation teams must agree that a supporter programme is useful, appropriate, and safe for the place and season.

  2. Confirmed hosts

Hosts and delivery arrangements must be named, agreed, and ready to explain who leads each part of the programme.

  3. Clear field boundaries

Wildlife access, sensitive information, and conservation work must remain under local rules and in authorised hands.

  4. Transparent terms

Dates, activities, costs, safety arrangements, cancellations, and the use of supporter funds must be published before any offer opens.

What we will publish

Enough detail to make an informed decision.

If the programme is approved, its public page will replace this notice with confirmed information. Supporters will not be asked to rely on indicative plans or unnamed arrangements.

  • Confirmed dates and the local approvals that make the programme possible.
  • Named hosts and delivery partners, with permission to publish their role.
  • A clear price and a plain account of what supporter funds will cover.
  • Travel, safety, cancellation, wildlife-access, and safeguarding terms.

Programme updates

Hear when there is confirmed news.

Email Seascale to ask for material updates about approvals, hosts, and whether a future supporter programme will go ahead. This is not a booking request and does not reserve a place.
